Profile of Board of Directors

 Keilah Wall

Keilah is a relative newcomer to Valdez, having lived here only four years.  However, she has over 30 years experience in the field of developmental disabilities and is a great asset to the organization.  She enjoys volunteering with both Connecting Ties, Inc. and local Special Olympics events.

John Devens

John is a very active in the community. He is one of the founders of our local community college, where he was the President for many years. He has served the City of Valdez as Mayor and as a member of the city council. He comes to Connecting Ties, Inc. with many years of experience with non-profit organizations.

  Tom Kuckertz

  Tom Kuckertz currently works as project manager in the Valdez office of the Prince William Sound Regional Citizens' Advisory Council and is responsible for monitoring operations at the Valdez Marine Terminal. Tom came to Valdez from Los Alamos, New Mexico in 2000 after a 27-year career as a scientist and engineer developing nuclear instrumentation.

Gloria McAlister

Gloria is a long time resident of Valdez, active in many community activities and organizations. She does Genealogy research for others. She has served on the food bank board for over 10 years.
