Home > Project Santa
Project Santa was created to provide assistance to families with children who may not otherwise be able to celebrate Christmas with a gift. It is intended for children ages 0 to 18, still living at home.
Project Santa is an all volunteer effort and does not receive any funds or resources for profit. Every attempt will be made to ensure that your child(ren) will receive a gift for Christmas once your application is submitted. There is no qualifying or screening based on income or need. However, completed applications will only be accepted from the individual family that is requesting gifts. Please do not submit applications on someone's behalf.
Our assumption is simply that when you return your application, you've asked us to share in your Christmas. All names of givers and respective recipients shall remain anonymous and/or confidential. Please limit your request for gifts to a price range of $15-$50 each. This year we are focusing on four areas, something they want, something they need, something to wear and a book to read.
Please return the Project Santa Application form to Copper Valley Telephone Attn: Shilah Butler (for Glennallen residents) or Sheila Jordan (for Valdez residents) no later than December 3rd. We expect to have all the gifts wrapped and ready for pick-up at the CVTC office by December 21st, please make sure to include a contact number so we can notify you when the gifts are ready for pick-up. All gifts will be in a gift bag this year and not wrapped.
