If the location where requesting phone service has not had service for quite some time and CVTC equipment has been moved to accommodate phone service at another location in neighborhood or if customer is requesting more phone lines than previously had there may also be a required $52.00 premise visit charge.
For new accounts, there may be a required business deposit, which usually runs $200.00 for first phone line and $100.00 per each additional phone line into your business. CVTC will waive deposit requirement if business has a letter for another utility showing good pay history or have had previous service with CVTC, which reflects good pay history.
