Digital Data

Ideal Uses: Connecting specialized digital data collection and monitoring equipment such as for weather, seismic, or alarming devices. These low capacity circuits transport data via copper wires.

Fractional T1

Ideal Uses: Similar uses to Digital Data, but requiring more capacity for specialized digital data collection and monitoring equipment such as for weather, seismic, or alarming devices.

SDSL

Ideal Uses: An SDSL connection is a synchronous connection that transports data to the Internet. Additional Information: SDSL is a best effort service. Modems for this service are special ordered for the customer's specific needs. A landline phone line is required to provide this service. Maximum speed available is based on customer's premise loop length.

T1

Ideal Uses: The T1 is ideal for transporting voice and data. The T1 provides connectivity between locations and is often used in association with PBX or key phone systems. See also, Digital Data Service and PRI for specialized package pricing and options.

Ethernet

Ideal Uses: This highly versatile technology is currently the technology of choice for point-to-point data connections. Common uses are to connect multiple business locations (such as warehouses, stores, and offices) into a shared network, operate video conferencing equipment, and for other high capacity applications. Quality of Service standards are provided. Ethernet technology is more easily (and less expensively) scaled to meet a customer's needs than other types of circuit pathways.

Internet over Ethernet connection

Ideal Uses: Connect to the Internet via an Ethernet connection. This connectivity is typically installed in association with an Interstate Ethernet loop from the customer premise. Use this connection to access web applications, seminars, databases, or other sites on the World Wide Web.

DS3

Ideal Uses: Very high capacity typically used by telecommunications carriers to transport data and voice.

OC3

Ideal Uses: Very high capacity typically used by telecommunications carriers to transport data and voice.
